Terms of Service

Who may use the service

To use the core functionality of Money Space, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18 (or below the age of majority under the law of your country of residence), you may use the service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The adult giving that consent accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any transactions you enter into, including purchasing a paid subscription. A paid subscription for a minor may only be purchased through an App Store or Google Play account owned by an adult (for example, using Apple Family Sharing or Google Family Link). By registering, you confirm that you meet the age requirements above and, if you are under 18, that you have a parent's or legal guardian's consent.

Description of the service

Money Space is a personal-finance tool that lets you track accounts, transactions, goals, assets and liabilities, import bank statements, share tracking within a household, and use an AI assistant. We may modify, add to, or discontinue individual features of the service, giving you advance notice of material changes as described in "Changes to these Terms".

Your account

Most features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subscriptions and payments

Certain features are offered on a paid subscription basis, available exclusively through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Pricing, currency, the billing period, the terms of automatic renewal, and the scope of features are shown on the subscription screen in the App Store or Google Play.

Your subscription renews automatically for the same period. To stop it renewing, cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — this cannot be done through Money Space. Deleting your Money Space account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

Because subscriptions are purchased and billed through the App Store or Google Play, the relevant app store is the seller, and billing, cancellation, automatic renewal and refunds — including the EU withdrawal right for consumers — are governed by Apple's or Google's own terms and policies. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google support.

Your content and data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into the service (transactions, accounts, goals, attachments, and so on). You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the data you upload. On request, we will provide an export of your data in a structured, machine-readable format, as described in "Your rights" in the Privacy Policy.

If you use shared household tracking, the household members you add may see data you knowingly share through that feature. You are responsible for obtaining the consent of other people before adding their personal data to shared household tracking.

The AI assistant is not financial advice

The AI assistant and any analytics in Money Space are provided for informational purposes only and are general in nature. They are not, and must not be treated as, professional financial, investment, tax or legal advice. AI responses may contain inaccuracies. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service unlawfully and, in particular, not to:

• violate applicable law or the rights of third parties;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts or our infrastructure;
• interfere with the operation of the service, compromise its security, or place an excessive load on it;
• upload malicious code or data you do not have the right to use;
• use the service to resell or provide services to third parties without our permission.

Third-party services

To provide the service, we engage service providers, including Firebase, Google Cloud, OpenAI, Sentry and Resend — the full list and their roles are described in the Privacy Policy. We remain responsible to you for properly providing the service, including the parts of it delivered through these providers.

The service may also interact with app stores (App Store, Google Play) and your Apple or Google account. Your use of those accounts and services is governed by the relevant provider's terms, and we are not responsible for their operation or policies.

Intellectual property

Money Space, including its software, design, trademarks and content (other than your data), belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property other than the right to use the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and to the extent it is available. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet all of your individual expectations. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms — but this does not affect the statutory conformity guarantee and right to a remedy given to you by consumer-protection law in your country of residence.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Money Space is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including damages connected to the AI assistant's informational content, which is not financial advice (see "The AI assistant is not financial advice"). This limitation does not apply to: (a) harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence; (b) your consumer rights under mandatory provisions of applicable law, including the statutory conformity guarantee; or (c) liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@money-space.app. Note that deleting your Money Space account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription — you must cancel it separately in the relevant app store's settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access for a material breach of these Terms or on other lawful grounds, and we will tell you the reason unless the law prohibits this. If we end your access through no fault of your own, we will refund the unused, pro-rata portion of any prepaid subscription. Because subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play, the refund will be issued by the relevant store.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes — including any that reduce your access to features you have already paid for — at least 30 days in advance, through the app or by email, and explain the reason. If a material change makes the terms of your paid subscription less favorable to you, you may terminate before the change takes effect, and we will not charge you for the period after termination. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and our relationship with you are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union or in another country whose law gives you additional protection, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection given by mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence.

Disputes are resolved through the courts. If you are a consumer, you have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence under applicable jurisdiction rules (for EU consumers, in particular Articles 17–19 of Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012, Brussels I recast), and we may only bring proceedings against you in the courts of your country of residence.

Assignment

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or successor, including in connection with a reorganization or sale of the business, giving you advance notice; such a transfer does not reduce your rights under these Terms. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The invalid provision will be applied to the maximum extent consistent with its original intent.

We send you notices to the email address on your account or through the app. You can send us notices at hello@money-space.app.

Language of these Terms

These Terms are provided in Ukrainian and English. For users resident in Ukraine, the Ukrainian version prevails in case of any discrepancy between the two.
